Based on the eponymous poem by Banjo Patterson,The Man from Snowy River is a musical, a rock concert, a rodeo and an equestrian extravaganza and arena show like no other. Created, written and directed by David Atkins & Ignatius Jones, the show captures the spirit, humour, majesty and sense of adventure Australian pioneers brought to life using more than 40 horses, some of Australia’s best horsemen, women and stunt daredevils and a cast of 150.
The production is enormous in scale using cutting-edge technical sophistication, gigantic moving sets, and sophisticated lighting systems , giving the audience a true sense of the echoes of the stockwhips, firelight of the flint stones and the extraordinary bold riding of the Australian Stockmen.
