Expo 2020 Dubai invited the world to come together in celebration of the theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future” from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022 and the world responded with more than 24 million visits to the 438-hectare site over that period.
The DAE team undertook the monumental task of creating and delivering 15,891 shows over those six months, an average of 87 shows per day!
In addition to 11,032 Daily Entertainment Program performances, there were 2,083 International Participant events, 196 National Day Ceremonies, 108 Parades, 69 Young Stars performances and 757 Third-Party shows, just to name a few.
Our amazing team included 175 cast from 55 countries and an additional 385 Emirati Cultural Performers all supported by 272 people tirelessly working behind the scenes.
Performances took place all across the architecturally stunning site, indoors and outdoors, between 9am and 1130pm weekdays and as late as130am on weekends.
