Anna Maidon
Executive Director
Anna is the Executive Director of David Atkins Enterprises, and oversees the DAE offices in the USA, & Qatar.
Anna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Creative Writing, and her experience within the Entertainment Industry extends from producing, directing, management, business development, casting, production, writing, film, and live sporting events, to overseeing the delivery of globally broadcast Ceremonies.
Anna currently leads the development of all DAE international business strategies, successfully operates and develops international business, plays an integral role in DAE’s tender processes, and specialises in nurturing DAE’s key international stakeholders within a variety of different Countries and cultures.
Anna’s major credits include working in the casting department of both the 2002 Olympic Winter Games Ceremonies, and the 2002 Torino Handover Ceremony. Anna managed the Nominee Logistic Operations for both the 2002 and 2003 Academy Awards Ceremonies at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Further, Anna played a vital role within the casting department for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games Ceremonies, acted as the Head of Casting for the Doha 2006 Asian Games Ceremonies, the associate producer on the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games Ceremonies, the Producer of the Doha 2011 Arab Games Opening Ceremony, and the Executive Producer for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the 2015 Men’s International World Handball Championships.
Anna has also managed casting logistics for four Super Bowl Halftime Shows, and has consulted on USAID projects to facilitate the transfer of knowledge between seasoned international sporting bodies and upcoming games-time stakeholders. This was a natural progression for her due to her sound experience in stakeholder communications within an Olympic environment.
During Anna’s tenure working for a company called Feature Films, Anna produced original film content and co-produced feature length projects with Cinar (Montreal). In addition, Anna previously owned her own company; Maidon Voyage Productions which provided casting, directorial, and creative media content services for feature films, commercials, corporate organisations, advertising, product launches and large scale events. Maidon Voyage Productions provided a multitude of production services for AMCI North American ‘Taste of Lexus’ tour, Omniture, Nielson Group, and Symantec and The American Home Business Asssociation to name a few.
Anna’s key objective is to further develop international business for David Atkins Enterprises and maintain and enhance DAE’s position as the world leader within the Entertainment Industry.
